Dear hotdeals-555, We are pleased to notify you that you can now register to have your payments managed by eBay. Managing payments is a big step towards making eBay a simpler, more modern managed marketplace. During Q1 2021, eBay processed payments for 52 percent of global on-platform volume, with over 4 million active sellers enrolled in the program worldwide. We will require all sellers to register to have their payments managed by eBay in 2021. Register Now  ➔

eBay will be partnering with Payoneer, a leader in global payments, to enable sellers to easily receive funds associated with their transactions on eBay. This partnership will enable sellers to manage their transactions on eBay, providing a streamlined selling experience, while also providing flexibility in managing funds. When eBay manages your payments, payouts will be made to your Payoneer account, not your PayPal account. Payouts for all sales will be made in US dollars.

The first step is to complete registration for eBay to manage your payments by 2021-06-18. Please make sure you register by the deadline so you can continue to create, relist and revise listings, and preserve all your live listings.

Let’s get you registered: Connect a Payoneer account. Provide an existing account, or create a new one. Sync your eBay and Payoneer profiles. Enter your credit or debit card information to cover fees and expenses, such as those arising from refunds, claims, or disputes. Submit your registration information. Register Now  ➔

Running your business is simpler when eBay manages your payments, and buyers have new ways to pay: Simpler to sell Buyers have a larger selection of payment options such as credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. They can also make purchases using locally supported payment methods*. Simpler fees Fees are collected from your sales, and the remainder is paid directly to your Payoneer account. Simpler to manage You’ll find everything you need to manage your business — reports, returns, claims, and disputes — all in one place.

After you register, Payoneer will contact you to verify your identity and business. This process might take several weeks, and we’re asking for your cooperation with providing the documents requested. Learn more here. Nothing will change until eBay activates your account starting June 2021. We will notify you of your activation date in advance. We will also share more information about the change, how it will benefit your business, and how to take full advantage of our new approach to payments. Information shared during registration allows us to send your payouts after eBay begins to manage your payments, and to comply with applicable laws, which helps keep eBay a trusted marketplace.
